18th January 2008 - Lena was running over a week late so was admitted to the maternity ward.
19th January 2008 - labour in earnest overnight, then at about 10:30am into theatre for ceasarian.
11.30am - Dimitri Alistair ASPLIN delivered. 54cm long, black hair, big hands and feet, and at 9lb 11 oz, the way he was presented, obvious that there was no way for him a 'normal' birth!
Lena was very tired and woozey, Steven exhausted. We stayed away on day 1, but Steven took some pictures.
