This morning Lena and Dimitri went home, but called in on Megan and Darius up the corridor on the way.
Neil had spent the day with Megan and Darius, and was press ganged by the nurses into stripping off and doing the skin thing to warm the baby up (Darius was a bit cold - Neil is actually holding him in these pix).

I called on Lena and Steve at lunchtime and found the whole household (Lena, Steve, Dimitri and Sophie the cat) all sound asleep!
This afternoon Rosie and I visited Neil and Megan, and Darius at the hospital.

While we were there Megan's Dad, Murray visited (another new Grand-dad) and her brother Stuart. Of course, we all got to hold the baby!

Darius is fair, and we thought looks a lot like Megan. He has the Asplin dimple, and the Asplin long big toe. A very contented little fella. Of all the family gifts we dropped off, only one pair of pink trimmed booties slipped through the preliminary check!
Neil called round home for dinner, and dropped off his photos, some of which have been inserted into the blog. Then he was going back to the hospital.
We expect Megan will be discharged late tomorrow or early Friday - she seems to have the measure of the challenge! Good country lass!
